The health benefits of drinking water are well documented and its generally accepted that we should all try to drink 7 or 8 glasses (2 litres) per day.
Various books have been published on the subject with 'Your Body's Many Cries for Water' by Dr F Batmanghelidj being probably the most famous and widely read of the genre.

Reported benefits are as wide ranging as increased concentration, treatment of stress and depression, assisting weight loss and alleviateing ailmets such as arthritis, high blood pressure and headaches.

Hygiene

Unlike some water cooler companies we believe that the sanitisation and maintenance of our water coolers should not be an optional or chargeable extra. It is an essential regular practice that ensures the hygiene of the machines and therefore also ensures the quality and the purity of the water

As such your service, sanitisation and filter change is already included in your monthly cost.

Our 6 monthly standard sanitisation and maintenance procedure consists of:

• Sanitisation or replacement of all exposed parts using cooler specific biodegradable peroxide spray.
• Filter change using a .9 micton Doulton ceramic, carbon block Filter
• Sanitisation of water tank (where applicable) and internal workings using cooler specific biodegradable peroxide spray.
• Replacement of any faulty or worn parts.
• Clean exterior of machine and drip tray.

All visits are automatically generated by our system 2 weeks before they fall due to ensure that your cooler is sanitised and serviced by our trained technicians within the correct timeframes.

Filtration

The Waterpoint use, as standard, 0.9 micron Doulton Supercarb ceramic carbon block filters in all of our water coolers. We exchange these filters every 6 months to maintain the quality and purity of the water you will be drinking.

Our Supercarb filters are proven to remove a vast array of water borne contaminants including cryptosporidium, ecoli and giardia and reduce sediment and poor tastes and odours, thus dramatically improving the taste of the water.
