The water is tapped directly from vacuum-sealed 10 litre or 15 litre plastic bags packed inside cardboard boxes. The complete water box is chilled inside the unit. This system offers both you and your customers a whole array of crucial advantages:
- The water boxes are one-way products: the empty containers are directly recycled by the user
- Picking up of empties is no longer necessary
- The water boxes can be stored inside the unit to save space – and in the aqueduct PRO they are pre-chilled too
- The water boxes are quick and easy to replace
Incredibly fresh
When it comes to hygiene, aqueduct bag-in-box stands out clearly against other drinking water systems. The systems are "hygienic by design".
The compelling reasons:
- The water goes directly from the bag to the cup without contacting the machine or interim containers
- Whenever an empty water bag is disposed of, the tap is also replaced thus eliminating one of the biggest sources of contamination
- The water is not exposed to light or air during storage, eliminating "green bottle" problems, bacterial and algal growth within the cooler
- Even when water is being dispensed, no air at all can get into the vacuum bag – so the water remains fresh and clean even after opening
- In the case of the aqueduct PRO the reserve boxes are already chilled during storage inside the unit
